Both my lamps are out, After looking at the fuse FAQ i can't find a relevant fuse. Any ideas? It's a phase 1, many thanks________________________________________ VW Golf GT TDI 115, 100k nooooooooooooooooooooo! |

Thanks Andy, yes i guess so. Yes the sidelights do work.....hmm looks like a wiring problem then. The wires will hopefully run inside the boot near the lock i guess________________________________________ VW Golf GT TDI 115, 100k nooooooooooooooooooooo! |

change the bulbs first, its a possibility that they have both blownwhen did you last notice them both working? maybe one has been gone a while and you didnt notice, and now the other has gone it mnakes it seem like its a problem. ive had both headlamp bulbs go at once before, after scratching my head for a few hours i changed the bulbs and they worked ________________________________________ andrew315rawson@live.co.ukMoonstone phase 7 gti6 My Project thread: http://www.306gti6.com/forum/showthread.php?id=119992&page=1 |

Done it, yes you could say it was a wiring issue.....Turns out the white wire had been wrapped around the green one which had been stripped just enough to get to bare wire, and it had come off.... Also the yellow wire's attached to the green one! What's going on there? Wiring into a Live? Haven't a clue how electrics work tbh! ________________________________________ VW Golf GT TDI 115, 100k nooooooooooooooooooooo! |
