Could someone please explain how this "wonderful" piece works?
The oil filler cap / breather is connected to a
1 - a regulator then in turn to the intake after the air filter element but before the TB
2 - a weeny hose that bypasses the TB and connects right next to the ICV hose
The regulator shuts off when there is vacuum from the filler cap.
Now this is the tricky part because the oily fumes are actually forced out from the filler cap - meaning that the regulator can only be shut _if_ the vacuum is present possibly from the weeny hose?
The reason I ask is because my air filter is rather oily - probably that is not intentional, is it?
Thanks!
