Hi, at the mo i dont have a pic but if you know your way around the electrics ya might be able to help.
Near to the oli filter at the front there is an air con pipe which has some sort of sensor or switch, its blue. The harness that leads down to this sensor has two plugs one of which is blue one is brown.(the brown was rightly or wrongly plugged in??)
I unplugged the brown one from the blue switch to see if that stopped my fans running constantly. When i plugged it back in it burnt out, melting all insulation as far up the harness breakout as i can see.
I dont particularly care about the air con as it never worked so i need to get the harness checked for additional damage.
Luckilly i have a mate who is an auto electrical whizz but i thought i'd ask here to see if anyone can offer any electrical drawings - what is the wire i burnt out etc etc.

Cheers, but which is ment to be plugged in to that then? blue or brown plug?

After some research on here i recon the fan problem is due to either relay issue at front, fan switch terminal corrosion or the bitron thing by the front nearside wheel arch, i'll follow the guide i found on hear and all will be checked at the weekend.
