picked up my 6 today, and the windows only work if the driver door is shut, im guessing it must be a loose connection or something??
have asked two of my mates who have hdi's and theyve never had this problem.

mine is a 97' gti-6
can anyone confirm this?

cheers

Check that yours are not just getting caught or twisted first. Second hand one will prob be just as bad, not sure were you would get a new one, possibly from peugeot or GSF? I just took mine to a garage and they did it, LOL

The only thing I will add is that if you take the door off. Undo the single bolts on each hinge and the checkstrap. So 2 bolts and the checkstrap 2 bolts. If you undo the hinges it is a c*nt to get the door back straight.
