Would like to know how to reset an ECU? and anything I should not do when resetting.Dry

Disconnect the battery for 10 minutes, reconnect it & your doneThumbs up

No need to disconnect the battery - just unplug the ECU.

Does exactly the same and doesn't loose the time on the clock and stereo settings.

The only useful thing an ECU reset does is to reset the ICV to its home position though.

also what i found when i reset my pug the other night is when i reconnected the baterry the alarm kept going of. when you reconnect the battery put the key in the ignition on the setting before the one to crank the engine the reconnect the baterry, apparently the ecu looks for the imobliser chip with the code in it
