Hi Guys, first post.. and im here with a problem. Dry

so bout 2 nd a half weeks back, on the motorway, drivin nice nd slow in the traffic nd snow, clutch peddle felt funny nd then smacked ryt to da top..

so recently got money nd figured it was clutch cable nd got it changed. now drivin it about a 100 miles and the clutch peddle is starting to feel stiff when pushed right to da back. as if its struggling nd isnt smooth.

went back to da garage dude.. nd he repeated like he said b4.. i will probably need a new clutch coz he duznt think the problem is da cable. now..
any advice from u lot here will b great.. thankz in adv..

oh nd i thought maybe i shud mention.. i hve an xsi.. not a 6 or a rallye.. unfortunately!.

Try some gearbox oil before changing your clutch!

make sure you change the cover plate as well as the clutch plate else you will be p*ssing into the wind, had a guy do a cheap clutch replacement in my early days of ownership and he only changed the plate and it was fine for 300 miles and then went back to being a bastad

the clutch lever arm, you have to remove a pin that holds it in and mine was a complete bas**rd, i had to bend the clutch lever arm up so it would spin round to relese the fork from behind the clutch to get the box off.
mine suddenly went like yours and the pressure plate had cracked but it was noisy for a few weeks before it went, there was like a rattling sound

don't worry about the arm till you come to remove it, most aren't that bad.
