Not XU I know but I trust the knowledge on here and just looking to confirm my thoughts for me on the HDi clutch. I'm not really au fait with servicebox.

I suspect after 225K (45K running stage 1) my clutch has started to die, i'm getting occasional slippage in 3rd and 4th, more prominent with a heavily loaded car.

- Don't worry I know what a clutch is but am I correct in thinking the kit I need is 2052 J2 from the list above, incorporating parts 1,2 and 3? What's the last item attached to the part 8, is that a free alignment tool? I'm confused by all the numbers next to item 8 -I have an old clutch they can have if it's cheaper by exchange?

- Is part 6 the bush that is advisable to change at the same time to improve the pedal feel if it's very heavy? And/or part 7? It always has been heavy since I bought the car on 70K.

How do you find out the price in servicebox? (or can someone just post up what they are?)

Thanks

Simon

the exchange one is the same unit, you just give them your old one, saves a fair bit usually I believe.

6 and 7 are the white bushes you need to change, the last piece pictured with 8 is the alignment tool.

Mind you that's 0.1ppm for my current clutch. Laugh

Holy crap! I better find out the deal with the exchange kit then lol. I can get up to 20% discount on some things as i know the parts guys. I suppose Lukejenks is worth a PM too!

Thanks for your help Mei, much appreciated.

Is a Rallye clutch the same? I had a brainwave earlier, I've got a brand spanker in the garage for the Rallye.

Ok, no problemo. Someone on 306.net has a new kit in a box, so found another avenue there, thanks for the speedy replies/help dude.
