Hi guys,

I have Miles' uprated gear linkages fitted and recently had to change the rubber ball pivot part of the linkage as it was fooked. When I was removing and refitted the linkages, I somehow managed to loosen the locking nut and the length of the linkage has changed. The gearstick sits far too forward when compared to standard and is hard to get into gear.

I haven't driven the car for more than 2 months so I haven't a clue which one is the right length. Does anyone have access to some standard or uprated linkages that they could measure for me? I need the size of the smaller linkage please

Cheers,

Idnan

No idea of the top of my head as they are jigged.
I;d do what I do on all 205's is get someone to hold the gearstick in the normal position and adjust to suit.

cheers lads, I think it might be the lower of the two linkages.

I'll have a play around and see where it feels comfortable.
