hi everyone im looking for some help iv got a 97 2.00 xsi the 16v one. iv recently brought the car and the revs have started dropping when i pull up to a stop, and when pulling away it feels realy gutless. when the revs drop they drop to around 500 rpm then bounce up to about 1500 rpm and will do this a few times before it idles smoothly. then when you go to pull away they drop again before the power kicks in and you end up kangerooing up the road untill the revs pick up. iv also noticed that when accelerating the exhaust note will deepen breifly at 1500 rpm and then do the same at 3500 rpm im not sure if this is linked to the revving problem.

any help will be much appreciated thanks guys
