because i Dont waste money, the 6 box may take 300ftlbs it may not, there might be a cheaper option out there.Dont really want to spend £1300 on a box just after spending £5k on mapping, ecu and a xu10, Plus since i said i was 19 there the posts come about the insurance, theres THOUSANDS of lads who vary from 17 to 25 who dont declare mods. So you won't be declaring your mods? You fucking prick! I declared my mods and my SC is fully declared. If you can't afford to mod the car then don't full stop. ________________________________________ Ex SC-6Now in a Megane R26 |

To be fair this sounds like the last turbo conversion that never happened so it shouldn't be an issue.________________________________________ Ex SC-6Now in a Megane R26 |

I'm sure he knows that not having insurance (exactly the same as not declaring your modifications) is an offence that can land him in prison/with a crimal record. Of course, lovely bit of debt he only has to repay after earning over a certain threshold at a pretty much insignificant repayment rate. The ML box fit's and is allot stronger than the BE box, But it's twice as heavy, Needs a cable conversion unless you can fit a master cylinder on the clutch pedal and custom shafts as the inner splines are different, Also is using the 2.0 turbo version then I would add another 2 planet gears like the V6 or a ATB diff dare I say it________________________________________ 306 Rallye Sptint/Race Car, 205 CTI 1.9 8v to name a fewRoad, Track and Race/Rally car preparation to your personal requirements, Full Workshop & Diagnostic Facilities New and Second parts, from Plugs to Turbo's We now also carry out Routine Servicing www.pugracing.com & FB Page, https://www.facebook.com/PugRacing Ebay; http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Pug-Racing-Shop 2012/2013/2014/2019 Class Winners at Gurston Down Speed Hillclimb & Joint overall, Class record too along the way, |

as above hes had this on the other threads, and as he said hundres of people do it undeclared, but the reason they do it un declared is because the more people that do it the higher the premiums will be for everyone making it less affordable for other so more people dont declare, its a vicious circle fuelled by c*nts that cant afford to pay, dont do it if you cant afford to. ________________________________________ Ex-Black 6 - Speed has never killed anyone, suddenly becoming stationary... ML5 is 10kg heavier than a BE3/6 box. You'll need different shafts with a 406/xantia 2L turbo rear engine mount and the speedo will be out with the different tyre size. Also cable shift system will bolt in but you'll lose heat shields and have to cut the exhaust tunnel. You'll also have to figure out how to make the clutch arm move as those boxes usually use hydraulics. Its a bit of a twat basically but can be done. I had one on my V6 engine in my rallye. ________________________________________ Nothing to see here |

not that much work tbh, been done before so everythign that needs to be done has been covered before, worth it for knowing it'll take some beating and wont cost you too much.as Miles said, there is a Quaife diff available off the shelf, doubt it'd take much for someone else to make up a plate diff to fit. ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |
