i used a 12" G clamp and a bit of 1" steel pipe with two 'windows' cut in the sides. that did the job as good as the proper one i used to put them back in. |

If you decide to buy one, get one with long handles, the springs on these heads are strong as hell and take some serious compressing.________________________________________ R H Davey Welding Supplies. This is not for a GTi6 head, but an XUD head, which also has extremely strong springs. Thanks for the advice, tbh thinking about it I might buy one, going to be rebuilding a couple of heads soon... |

Good idea, will save a lot of time over the course of threading a G-clamp in and out 16+ times.________________________________________ R H Davey Welding Supplies.
