im having trouble bleeding the coolant on my s16 it has been idling for about an hour and is running at about 90 degrees but the heaters dont want to get warm and when you go for a drive the car gets slightly hotter. i have just put the engine in so it could be a massive air lock does anyone have any ideasthanks |

have you opened the bleed screw on the heater pipes?________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

yea the one on the heater matrix and waited for a constant flow of water to flow before closing it |

i cant find any in there but i tried the bottle method. i have bled a fair few systems but this one just dosnt want to lol |

There's a few bleed points on the S16.Radiator, thermostat, one directly above the thermostat(brass bleed screw), one on the metal pipe at the back right hand corner of the engine (brass screw) and the heater connection at the bulkhead. Hope this helps. |

i found out today that my thermostat wasnt opening when i took the bleed screw on the thermostat out i was only getting steam come out of it lol. |
