Hi this has stunned me for weeks now , i have a 306 HDi & when she idles the auxiliary belt tensioner vibrates, & the belt looks slack between the crank pulley & the air con pump. I've replaced the belt tensioner & crank pulley, and still it vibrates the same, as soon as I pull away and increase the revs it stops, it only does it on idle. I've turned the tick-over up a little by adjusting the throttle cable, and that has reduced the noise alot. Apparently this is common on the HDi. Can anyone say if they've had this problem and tell me how to cure it. Regards Simon________________________________________ Team Diesel |
