Hi everyone I know this has probably been covered but too many people differ in their opinions on what oil to use. At the moment I am using total quartz 7000 semi 10 40w but I have heard that the xu much prefers to run on 5 40w fully synthetic. Is this true? Many thanks in advance________________________________________ Team Nile 6Team: 40.2 MPG 5 x a 306 owner! currently abusing type r's in a town near you ™ I truely live for the 306 ® Build date: 29th October 1997 Wednesday's car midweek madness |

Running a 5W-40 will be fine. Infact you'll give your engine better cold start protection - a good idea given the recent temperatures... |

No. As said above though there is nothing wrong with using it and you might as well if it's free.________________________________________ Rich |
