Other than the clip on the regulator is there anywhere else the window attaches to the mechanism

My drivers window seems to fall at the front when trying to open or close it.

Is there something within the door pillar that it should clip onto?

Yes There is a grey plastic clip which is fixed to the rear edge of the glass and retained in a channel in the rear edge of the window aperture. It's probably just slipped off the glass.
