Hi guys,ive just brought a new radiator from eurocar parts.com and the bottom hose connection is wrong and also the inter oilcoller connection on the new radiator is a double in/out valve connection whereas mine is a single...any ideas why this is? also is the right one according to there website, 306 gti6 on a T plate!any help much appreciated,thks!!

There were two different bottom hose connectors used and the age of your car is around the point they changed.

The oil cooler connection is the same on all GTi-6 radiators though. Do you have the Euro Car Parts part number?

sounds like an S16 or DT rad not a gti6 one.

Definitely the wrong one, although it is also listed for the GTi-6 which is an incorrect listing. Take it back tomorrow and get them to change it.

If your bottom hose uses a metal clip in the end of the radiator outlet to hold it in place then you have the later type of fitment, otherwise you have the early type.

LOL I just googled the part number

and one of the searched brought up Euro cars
it says 306 1.6 in the address bar

ok,gnrlle do me a favour and send me the link for the gti6 radiator on eurocar parts as there is something wrong somewhere down the line cus it says gti6 when i search thx
