I have just fitted bilstein replacement struts and eibach springs all round due to the OSF spring shearing.

Car now handles like new Smile, but, I now get a creaking sound from the NSF when under hard compression such as a bloody speed bump.

I have checked everything over and nothing appears to be loose, anyone got any ideas as to what the cause could be please?

Did you change the top mounts when you changed the struts and springs?

I jackd up the nearside and gave the wheel a good tug horizontally and verticaly and there was no movement. I'll have to wait until the weekend though to take off the wheel and have a good look around.

Car has done 75k and is lowered, so I was thinking that maybe some of the bushes are possibly knackered...

try loosening and then retightening the big front wishbone bolt (the one that runs through the front bush) with the car on the ground (rather than in the air), i had this myself after a suspension rebuild and that fixed it... it think it was philipm who advised me to do so...
