One of my sixes has still got lower engine cover and she tends to run hot mainly in traffic, (cooling fans on most of the time).Clutch pedal action also becomes alot heavier too.

In response to this issue i am going take it off and see how she runs after that, this should dramatically increase air flow around the engine.


I know these engines do create a lot of heat in the engine bay anyway mainly due to the exhaust manifold design.

Opinions please

I'd be surprised if it makes any noticeable difference tbh.

What condition/how old is the rad?Wink

Check and see if the heat is equal over the whole rad when upto tempSmile

Rad seems to be fine, it is the original one and is is in good condition with no corrosion.
