The easiest way to remove it is to twist it side to side about 5 times then it comes off very easily ________________________________________ Black X Reg PIII.VGTi 6 A4212 pt 1 A4212 pt 2 Searching the streets of Bristol for 1.36p/day.Joint Kent Leader |

To reserect an old post...Im in the process of fitting a new (Richbrook) gear knob. Got the old one off and was suprised to find cross shaped shaft rather than cylindrical. How have people retro fitted knobs which are designed to 'grub screw' onto a round shaft?? ________________________________________ Rallye-RNurburgring article |

Just try installing it in the normal way, but with the grub screw pointing at one of the indentations if the graphic on top is pointing the right way. Should work as long as the grub screw isn't too short. It will stop lateral movement too. ________________________________________ Cherry Rallye SOLD |
