Hi, im currently collecting parts for my turbo gti6 and i am unsure what size intercooler to get and what size boost pipe to get!
Im hopefully going to be running 300hp using a t3 turbo with a out let size of 2.25" (57mm), is it best to keep the boost pipe, intercooler inlet out let as that size untill i make it bigger for the throttle body?
Im looking at intercoolers with core size 600mm,200mm,76mm with inlet and out let 2.25"
Is this the right thing to do to keep the boost high and not get alot of lag?
Thanks

At 300bhp id say 2.5"... can you not consider a t28rs?

Intercooler. Get the thickest you can fit to save upgrading later... the front bumper isnt really the best for cooling a fmic!

ive got an intercooler and some boost pipe work in 2.5" that i maybe selling, theres someone else on dibs on it, but its all brand new and only done about 30miles in the car, bought the same second hand but with pipes already made up so saves me welding m,ine in the long run, not sure what its worth but fmic is the Rx7 same as most highboost coolers, be good for 400bhp and the pipe work is 2.5" and load of hose and clamps, probly lookinf for £150 for the lot.
