I put on my set of Michelin Alpins today and they seem to have a lot of dry grip. Also supposed to last ages longer than the competition, although snow grip isn't necessarily quite as good.As long as they've got M&S markings you'll be legal. Germany requires winter tyres to a degree too, whereas in france you only get fined if you block the road. ________________________________________ Nothing to see here |

The michelin alpins are fantastic. I had them fitted last year and cant rate them enough, even in deep snow in the swiss alps they were exceptional. (that was on a renault scenic we have as the family car not on the 6.) But they are not that cheap! But you get what you pay for with tyres! |

Ok, thanks. So just make sure they have M&S (dont know what that stands for, i presume not marks and spencers)stamped on them?I will also try Blackcircles.com as usually get my tyres from there. Thanks for the recommendations peeps ________________________________________ |
