I've not used it but is similar to my older model alpine.plus points of the model you are looking at are: 50w per channel Time correction High pass filter 4volt pre outs Adjustable subwoofer level. A very competent head unit that will enable you to fine tune your system. Worth the money in my opinion. ________________________________________ |

i've got one. had it to replace my old top of the range cda 9887r. for features, the 9887 beat it as it had the processor already built in, but once i got used to how to set up the 117, and considering i mainly use it as an ipod head unit, it kicks the shit out of the old model. it takes the files from the ipod and uses it's own high quality DAC to get awesome sound from the ipod, on the old unit it sounded a bit muddy. i'd defo recommend it. saying that tho i don't know how it would sound without subs/amps speakers etc with it. ________________________________________ Never underestimate the power of De-Nile.Friday afternoon car, built in France.... 306gti6.com Stickers available, pm me for details. or email MjStones83@hotmail.com Sticker Thread with pics |
