Well took the front end off the car today and sure enough the pipe just off the left of the condensor was corroded through and the bottom of the condensor had fallen apart. I did get sprayed in the face with the gas cutting a pipe on the old car with a hacksaw, I believed the gas had escaped but I was wrong..
