So, set off for work, and the speedo and rev counter stopped where they were, the fuel gauge, mileometer screen and clock on centre console dead.

Arrived at work to find the remote locking don't work, and the central locking is gone too Sad

I found that fuse 6 had blown, replaced it with a new 5a, but it blew straight away.

So any ideas of where to start? all advice is appricated.

is this not the immobiliser fuse? Do you have an unlocked ecu? Does your boot light work?

It's more than likely the alarm system causing the problem.

The batteries in the siren die and short out causing the fuse to blow.

Do a search on how to disconnect the siren (it's been covered loads of times) and that should allow you to replace the fuse with out it blowing.

And thanks to ablister for resonding. No problems with starting it, could it be slightly different between phases??
