Can i use this flywheel locking tool on a HDi? even though its listed for the older 306 dieselscheers

no need to use that, the tool for positioning the engine timing is an 8mm rod through the end of the block by the starter motor into the flywheel just like the XUD, and the tool for the top cam pulley is an M8 bolt IIRC.to remove the crank pulley have an assistant hold the engine in position by placing it in gear and pressing the brake pedal whilst you use a breaker bar on the bolt, once loosened you can position the engine and pin it up, then wind the bolt out by hand. or if you have access to an impact gun then just rattle it off. ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |
