Any ideas as to how to get in the boot (before we resort to crowbars and hammers...!!)
Cheers,
Nick

Heres a good one..... The boot on my mates cabrio is locked and won't open with either the c/locking or the key. On a hatch, this wouldn't be too much of a problem as you can crawl in from the back seats, but on the cab' there is a metal bulkhead stopping you from doing this...Any ideas as to how to get in the boot (before we resort to crowbars and hammers...!!) When you lift the hood and can see the bulk head is there not an acess panel or a bit you could maybe get a steal rod through to poke at lock, be really tricky tho probly impossible!! as the hole wont be that big________________________________________ In my garage just now2003 BMW M3 & 2009 L200 Raging Bull & Audi Q5 S Line AX stock rod & Saxo Stock rod Sold the bike an charged rallye an bought a caravan, midlife crisis or what! |

Boot on a Cabriolet will never open with the central locking anyway, but it will lock with it. To open the boot the only option is to use the key and turn anti-clockwise. Try some WD40 in the lock to see if it helps anything budge. There is the possibility that the barrel has broken however, that will make life difficult...________________________________________ '99 1.8 XS - Sold'00 GTi6 - Killed by armco '01 Cabriolet 1.8 - Sold '96 Eunos Roadster 1.8 Import |
