As per title, the outside edge of my Eagle F1 on the passenger side is looking rather worn down. It's wearing far too quickly, and has noticably changed in the last 300 miles of driving.

When I changed the clutch last week I noticed the P-Bush was well and truely ****ed, is this likely to be the culprit?

and make sure theres enough air in your tyres. should be around 38-40psi on the front

Thanks all, I'm going to order up some new bushes today or tommorow.

Having had a quick search i see that the 'Meyle HD P-Bushings and Mushroom Bushings' are the ones to go for. However.. Krisb doesn't seem to be replying to his thread so.. having had a quick search 'Motoquip' seem to be a decent OE spec bush to use?

I understand that I require Two new 'P-Bushes'one for either side of the car. As tbh it's pointless just refreshing one side of the car!

But I'm slightly confused as to how many of the mushroom bushes I need to order? Is it two or four?

I can't work out if you have to hammer in one from either side, or whether one bush hammers through, therefore only requiring two bushes for the job?

EDIT - Tyres are inflated to 36 Psi btw

pins are either 16mm earlier 0r 18mm later,I think they changed around the end of 1998.Ask someone to run your vin through service box.or sign up yourself.

Just ordered some Mushroom and P-Bushes from Motoquip. Seeing as welshpug recommended them Wink

�38 delivered which isn't bad, not sure if I realy require the ball joints though?

Two sizes were listed, so I didn't bother ordering those. I'll let my mechanic order them in when he realises which sizes to order.

I'm starting to think that I should have just bought two new Lemforder wishbones which come complete with the bushings.. although that would have turned out very expensive once I'd sourced new balljoints for those! (Two lemforder bushes without the BJs come to �140)

i run 30psi on front and 32 on back lol seems to work wonders

What I'll do welshpug is nip down to my local parts place and take the wishbone and BJ's with me to ensure I get the correct ones.

I would have ordered the P-Bushes and mushrooms from them, but they sometimes try and fob you off with crap parts. Which I didn't want!

I've also changed my mind about getting the mechanic to fit the bushes for me. I fancy doing it myself and pocketing the savings!

non pas are shorter IIRC (i.e the distance from the bushes at the subframe end to the BJ pin), it'll be fairly obvious Smile

I run 36 on the front and 34 on the back. Why would people run higher pressures at the back? Mine is skippy enough at the back without bouncing around because of high pressures in the tyres.
