A problem I encountered yesterday is that I've removed the STD oil to water cooler in favour of a proper oil to air cooler, the mocal sandwich plate came with an extention tube in the middle, female m20 thread at one end & male m20 thread at the other. As I have removed the original oil cooler the male thread on the block is not there anymore & I'm left with a female thread, so the sandwich plate won't fit.
I've been searching tinternet all night & I can't find a male to male extension tube for a sandwich plate anywhere so I've been looking for some m20 threaded tube, i can't find any of that either, I only need a piece about 40mm long.
I'm sure I'm not the first person to come across this, what have others done to get around this?

this is the extension tube from inside the STD cooler, male at each end, it's too long for the sandwich plate though..

This is similar to what came with the sandwich plate, male one end & female the other.....
