Hi All

As some may know, i recently had the head gasket changed on the Rallye, however since getting the car back ive noticed a loss of power and very poor MPG

Anyone know what could be causing this?

I f*cking hate this car Cry

Were the cams advanced/retarded previously?

Personally i'd get it back to the person who did the work and get a pressure test done

Check all pipework for leaks etc. Also check the exhaust for blows.

It may need to go on a diag though in case a sensor wire has been pinched or something.

Also as CWS said the cams may of been adjusted differently.

might want to check the inlet manifold gasket. Might not of been replaced when the head gasket was replaced and is sucking in air when it shouldnt be.

Cylinder head was sent off to be pressure tested and skimmed and surely would have been picked up by them

The car did overheat but was before the red area

All them gaskets were replaced, the lad i use is very trustworthy + if it was drawing air in from there it would more than likely run rough Dunno ?
