Before i start ripping the dash to bits i thought i would ask on here to see if anyone has has the same problem,my heaters work totally fine hot/cold they select the different settings like feet and face / face etc. but when i try put them on windscreen the knob turns round but doesent do anything apart from still coming out on the face setting. anyone know why? and whats the best way to fix cheers ben ________________________________________ 1997 P1 Gti 6 Charged |

Sounds like one of the steel cables behind the control unit has come detached/snapped.Take out all the centre bits so you can get behind the control unit, I suspect it'll be obvious. ________________________________________ Membership expiring soon, get in contact on our new little forum project. |
