Will stick some on the subaru and see how it goes. The dimensional stability figures look good on paper so just got to see if it applies well and looks ok.

You might be interested to know that i've got some Oracal 975 carbon effect coming in tomorrow. Its an outdoor vinyl, unlike the 3M Di-Noc and should be stable for 5 years. Will stick some on the subaru and see how it goes. Blimey, wrapping's not cheap with that stuff ay?Ooh adam, following on from what I sent you last week, can you do stickers with it or just vinyl? The surface i'm using isn't as smooth as i'd hope, certainly not for vinyl to stick to ________________________________________ Bye bye Sundance Kid |

I mean how vinyl needs to have the bubbles smoothed out, haven't been able to get the embossed logo smoothed out totally so would be trying to stick it to a lumpy surface...________________________________________ Bye bye Sundance Kid |

Done the roof with it.Positives: Doesn't look bad at all, although i'm going to wait until its sunny before taking photos. Easy to work and happily went on the roof without any real heat. Not being bubble-free isn't the best/quickest but it seemed to stick very well after application. Negatives: Fairly easily scratched but only by thumbnail or plastic squeegee, felt was fine. Really hard to see the edges to cut in. Not a problem on the 306, but a big one on my car. Guess we'll see how it fairs although needs some decent sun to do any real damage to it. ________________________________________ Nothing to see here |

Just laminated and lacquered some and both completely kill the effect. Just looks like lumpy black shiny vinyl after doing that!________________________________________ Nothing to see here |
