Have had a 'creaking' when I accelerate in my GTi-6. It was suggested that it might be the o/s engine mount, so I took the mount off to have a look at the chassis underneath it and found that it has massively cracked. So much that a piece has come away from the chassis. The mount itself was basically completely loose....

Anyone know a place near Northampton that I can get this welded up properly???? Have PM'd daveyboy but he's down in Southampton, which is a bit far and I need to get it sorted next weekend as the MOT is due the following week.
