What is the max. disc thickness the 406 Brembos can accept? Is it OK with 30mm thickness using new pads?

Wouldn't have thought so, they're a pretty snug fit with 28mm discs and new pads.

Is there any possiblity with modification to the pads or the calipers to have 30mm thickness brake discs?

I mean to take 1 mm from the side of the pistons of the calipers.
my concern is the U part in the caliper could accept the 30mm disc or would need machining?
