Has anyone had any experience removing wires from the ECU terminal block? I need to replace some of the wires but not sure how to do so without damaging the connectors which clip into the block.

you mean the plug?

remove the rubber boot, undo the cable clamp, undo the single screw at the opposite end and pull the cover part ff the core.

then pull the purple bits out of the side of the plug.
