Afternoon! Smile...

Basically the rad fans have packed up on the 6 again (for the third time). I currently had them rigged upto a manually by pressing the A/C button.

Now i'm going to save the hassle and buy a 12v universal radiator fan and just simply have a switch in the car for on or off.

Now would anyone be able to tell me what i would need in terms of wire, fuse and fuse holder...switch etc...

Many thanks.

Have a search for a pacet or kenlow fan controller.
Fits in to a hose and works automaticaly at what ever tempreture you set it to.
Also has the facility to have a manual over ride on it.
Very easy to install

Not sure that it would benifit me tho matey as i constantly have one eye fixed on the temp gauge whilst sat in traffic lol!..

As soon as it reaches over 85, i used to bang the fans on. Paranoid you might say but i like to look after my things Smile...

I've sourced the fan off ebay for £25 or so, just not sure how to wire it all up in regards to the correct wire specification, fuses etc etc...

You can set it so it comes on at that temp.
Though not sure why you would want to as the thermostat doesnt open until around 90 so your not getting flow through the rad until that point.
Haveing an engine run too cool is almost as bad as it being run too warm
