what's the oil pressure like?there's usually some play in the chain, did you remember the spacer plate that sits between the pump and the block? was the crank measured and the clearances checked? ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

Havnt got a pressure gauge, thought they only had an oil temp gauge? Yeh I remembers that, got the sump off and there's about a good inch play in the chain and the pumps working fine, what torque settings have you got for the crank main and big end bolts? Sounded weird as if something was tapping on the sump to get out!!!! |

Sorted it was the chain to loose. Does no where do a thicker plate to take this tension away? |
