I would guess you are sealing the dirt in by keep waxing it. Generaly with a good wax you should only need to wax every couple of months. You need to get rid of all the wax and contaminats on the paint. To do this I would clay the car, use a paint cleaner and then polish before sealing with a wax which can all be done by hand, best results would be achieved with a machine polish. What products you use is a personal choice, but Autoglym do all the products as to Meguiars. ________________________________________ If you aint first, your last! |

+!, almost certainly it's not being cleaned properly before being waxed. Nothing against your washing skills, it just needs the right products Wash the car, then use a proper paint cleaner that is NOT wax safe to clean off all the old wax which is actually protecting the dirt underneath. Once that's done clay the car, then use some kind of paint cleaner or swirl remover - if you can borrow a powered dual-action polisher that'd be ideal. Once the surface feels like brand new glass, wax it up and make sure you buff it off properly. It's better to put on more thin layers of wax than one thick one, as it could well be the wax itself making the car look discoloured! Depends if you can really be bothered mind ________________________________________ Membership expiring soon, get in contact on our new little forum project. |

I can do it for you I have a week off 24/10, have a day trip over? Have a look at Chet's Rallye that I did about a year ago with the same symptoms you describe. click________________________________________ If you aint first, your last! |
