Hey

Ive searched around and yes, found shit loads of threads relating to this but found alot of yes and no answers so hopefully i can clear this up:

If i used the 88mm Crank from the XU Diesel engine, and the Rods and Pistons from the S16 engine in a Gti6 Block and Head, would there be any machining required to the pistons?

Does anyone know what the max Valve clearence would be and what safe lift @ TDC you can run with this?

Thanks, and sorry if i missed a crucial post whilst searching

quite a bit of info here though nothing 100% concrete Smile

doesn't have to be a diesel crank btw, just a 1.9 8 valve or 16 valve petrol will do too.
