does anyone know if a hub on a gti 6 would be the same as the hub on any other ordinary 306???? i need a new hub as mine is bent but dont really know where to get one from

need to check it has the right size balljoint clamp hole (18mm IIRC) and that there is a hole for the ABS sensor.

get in touch with rolandrat or hanpug25 or pugplus as they may have one lying about, doesnt matter on hub you get just replce the ball joint aswell to suit the hub, there only like 5.50 or something from motor factors, ive got to hubs but 1 has a f*cked wheel bearing!

aren't wheel bearings a different size on the base model 306's? Something like 82mm diamater for sports suspension (gti6/xsi etc) and 72mm for others

bar the non abs 1.4 TU's, I believe all the rest are 82mm.

hopefully, try the few guys who break on here.

becareful when removing your abs sensor from your hub to fit in replacment hub as normally break, an when fitting the new 1, give the hub a good clean with emery paper an put copper slip on the sensor so it ease'is in.
