Ive just seen a lovely moonstone 6 and i really want it...thing is its got a huge Ecosse spoiler on the bootlid.

How much hassle is it to get it removed and holes sorted?

Worth it or not?

Ha! I bet Ecosse spent ages developing and testing them, and all anyone ever wants to do it remove them!

I've only ever removed the standard one myself but that's just held on with nuts and bolts. As far as I can see from the pictures they maybe even just use the two outermost standard holes to attach it, in which case it'd just be an unbolt/rebolt job - literally two minutes.

I can't imagine they'd have anything too funky holding them on seeing as they original holes are conveniently already there.

To be honest if it came to it you can probably pick up a new bootlid complete with glass and standard spoiler for about £30 if someone breaks a car anywhere near you.

O.

think it would be less hassle to find a new boot in the right colour

Agreed with both the above Yes

Then you could try selling the chav bootlid on ebay or something as it would fit any variety of 306 Smile

Thanks guys,

Apparently there are 2 holes drilled into the boot lid to fit it, but on closer inspection it is also lowered 50mm and has a LOUD exhaust.

Im after a standard one ideally, but would make a perfect car for someone who isnt, it really is nice and a reasonable price.

Sounds like it'd make an ideal car for someone I hate.

Got a picture of it? I had a 3 legged spoiler on my S16 and that was bonded to the glass - smashed the rear window getting that off! Erm?
