Yeah take the disc off and you should be able to get a pair of mole grips onto it ________________________________________ 1997 Black GTi6smithers205 at hotmail.com |

you might even be able to unscrew it by hand as all the tension from the bolt will be gone |

You can get something called an ez-out. You drill a small hole in the center of the sheared bolt, insert the self tapping bolt into the hole in a left hand thread direction and then as you tighten it removes the old bolt. Get them from Screwfix http://www.screwfix.com/prods/18643/Drill-Bits/Specialist-Drill-Bits/Screw-Extractor-Set Simples |

It should unwind as it's carrying no load now. Take the disc off and get mega moleys on it.________________________________________ I'm Si btwNight Blue VW Golf GTD Bianca LBSC Rallye - Track/Road Slag Project Thread Sparkling Silver Mini Cooper D - Super Dooper - (The other half's wheels) |

they dont wind out, you will be easier buying a new hub, the reason it snapped was due to it seizing up, have got one out before but was welding and heat etc |

Depends whether it sheared when tightening or untightening. If it was overtightened it should be loose now. Won't know til you try ________________________________________ Membership expiring soon, get in contact on our new little forum project. |

I managed to drill it out and get some of the thread cleaned out just enough to re-tap.________________________________________ S Reg Diablo standardsSpec SORNEDR Reg Nile standard spec written off then repaired X Reg Astor in need of TLC R Reg Nile to restore Set of Lions to fit. |
