hi as the title says i have sheared off one of my front drivers side wheel bolts.when i finally got the wheel off i saw it is flush with the disc.how do i remove?can i take the disks off to get a bit more bite or do i remove the whole hub?and how do i do it any help much appreciated thanks james.

Yeah take the disc off and you should be able to get a pair of mole grips onto it Thumbs up

you might even be able to unscrew it by hand as all the tension from the bolt will be gone

You can get something called an ez-out. You drill a small hole in the center of the sheared bolt, insert the self tapping bolt into the hole in a left hand thread direction and then as you tighten it removes the old bolt.

Get them from Screwfix

It should unwind as it's carrying no load now. Take the disc off and get mega moleys on it.

they dont wind out, you will be easier buying a new hub, the reason it snapped was due to it seizing up, have got one out before but was welding and heat etc

Depends whether it sheared when tightening or untightening. If it was overtightened it should be loose now.

I managed to drill it out and get some of the thread cleaned out just enough to re-tap.
