hi.... need some help... bought an s16 m plate 1994 peugeot 306 the car was running fine,, been parked up for about 6 weeks put it on the road today and it is hesertating between 3000-4000 rpm.. also it is a bit lumpy on start up.... only for 30 seconds or so then fine... revs ok on tickover... ive put some injector cleaner in to see if that will help...? could it be plugs?? the only thing i have changed is the air filter,, put a k&n on instead... Crazy

hi i had simular type of problem it turned out to be a green sensor just in front of the thermostate, sorted that out and now starts fine

only on cold start up, once it had warmed up it was fine

Inlet diaphragm actuators working like they should?
If not itīs problably more more less "dead" between 2500 and 4500rpm. Quite common on these old cars these days. Diaphragms are available from Peugeot though. Donīt know cost where youare but here in sweden theyīre about 65Ģ for one.
They usually last something like 5-10years of normal service so i do not consider that to bad myself.

As said could be a faulty or incorrectly adjustd diaphram.
Split pipe on the avac system.
