If i have the following parts(which i will have soon):

ECU+engineloom+loom inside with transponder+key with chip.

If i plug this together providing "ingition on" state, and then unplug the ECU, will this "unlock" it?

I will use this loom and ECU in another car but want to get rid of the immobilizer "stuff".

Iīve caught up on the "cutting off the transponder" part once the ECU is unlocked and all that.

What i want to know is, can i unlock the ECU even though itīs only connected to the transponder and "powered up", or do i NEED to wire it up to all the enginesensors also?

Ignition on is sufficient. You don't need the sensors.

you'd be suprised.. the VSS does make a difference to engine performance..

i'm sure there is a compensating map as the inlet was made with forced trunk design!
