Have my cylinder head in the machine shop today. Does anyone know the tolerance on the run-out for inlet and exhaust valves?

Just curious in case they come back saying they're okay but used the wrong tolerance Roll eyes

surely a machine shop would know that LOL

I can't find the specific details for the RFS head, but for the old Mi16 head it is 0.035 to 0.042mm.

Magic. I'd be suprised if it's different to that.

Just want to have a figure in my head as I've not used that machine shop before. They have a very good reputation, but need to be prepared to fend off any potential BS they might feed me!

the main thing is the relationship between the stems and the valve seats, many need re-cutting if they have been damaged even though the damage may not be visible.

the stems IIRC are both the same size, a nominal 7mm, 6.96-6.98 inlet, 6.94-6.96 exhaust.
