Hi folks,

A question ive been asked by a good mate of mine who's got a 206 gti GT (the big bumper jobby), its his missus's car but he's keen to do a trackday with us.

Is it possible to fit the 306 gti6 calipers onto his 206? And if so, which discs are preferable?

I think he's got a set of 206 gti 180 discs, but i suspect they are thicker than the 6 discs?

Ive done a search but not found a definative answer?

Thanks guys.

Why would he want to change?
180gti brakes are as good as the gti6 ones.

At the moment the cars on standard 206 gti discs and pads (266mm i think), he has the discs but can get hold of some GTi6 calipers easier and cheaper than 180 calipers.
