anyone no how heavy a fully built bottom end is? block, pistons, crank, sump ect...

too heavy! about 60-70 kilos I think.

I reckon that the complete engine weight is 150 kilo
i carried once the head itself with both hands, so i figure no more then 20 kilo ( without intake and exhaust manifolds)

head is 26 kilos minus thermostat housing.

I'm guessing the block is more like 90-100 kilo,
since both manifolds won't exceed 54 kilos.

I take it you mean with the cylinder head attached. The block itself is not that heavy as i managed to carry one and im not a big bloke!

Engine weighs 140kg minus alternator, starter motor and PAS pump but inc the flywheel and clutch.

i no there easy enough to carry if you can get a hold of them right, just weight for a courior is needed asap, i have 2 bare blocks but i need the weight of a fully built block
