So buy a Perkins engine and use that then. The engine numbers will be sequential but without reference points you'll have to hope Peugeot still have records. Don't hold your breath though. Are you talking about a new engine or a used one? For used ones the physical age of an engine is irrelevant really. It could have been fitted to a vehicle straight away or sat in storage for ages. Then, the vehicle could have been sold straight away or been in storage for ages. Then, the owner could have looked after it really well or abused it and not looked after it properly. How well it's been looked after is much more important than it's physical age. ________________________________________ Rich |

Obviously you the smart one here ,but i want to eliminate fraud, since i can't test the engine before purchasing, that's the least i could do. I know, but i can't check engines remotely, i can't deal with private owners or small scrape yard business in the UK, the only choice that i got is big enough reliable used car parts business that can deal with the shipping. can you recommend to me some? ________________________________________ French military victories?Did you mean French military defeats? |

What are the shipping issues? Are they that no-one will ship to you or is it an issue at your end? I personally wouldn't trust a larger company for this. (assuming you are after one of our engines) You will probably get the wrong engine delivered. ________________________________________ Ex SC-6Now in a Megane R26 |

If you were to contact France an English to French dictionary should get you by. As soon as you make an effort they start speaking English. A strange race.________________________________________ Ex SC-6Now in a Megane R26 |
