Does any other engine in the Peugeot range use double valve springs in the cylinder head?

I have removed my cylinder head for skimming after a head gasket failure and found only one set of springs. I have looked on servicebox and can find no reference to the internal springs with or without my vin number.

So does anyone know the peugeot part number for them?

Thanks in advance Smile

if you look at the part description on Servicebox you'll see it is for both springs

It's not an xsi engine No

If it is I am impressed with the power it had after a year of low boost Laugh

The last thing I want to do is go to pug and buy both sets of springs when I only need the internal ones. Don't they sell them separately for another engine like the trailing arm shafts for the 205's?

They may be uprated springs, do you know the history of the engine?

Does it say RS on the thermostat end of the head?

No real history of the engine as I bought it at an auction but I did get some info from one of the guys at the service desk of my local pug dealers. I do know that it had a complete front end repair that cost about £3000 in late 2004 and overheating and immobiliser problems.

Oh yes, it is a RS head. Had me doubting myself for a second then Laugh
