is it a Cat caught between the rear wheel and the arch liner? (on second thought, it would probably be a thud and not a knock)

but on a serious note, from the front? possibly Drop links, or P Bushes, CV joint...

I was going to suggest maybe using your mirrors more, maybe you just run over a lot of stuff?

As oecken said could be anything really - jack up the front and give everything a good hard wobble.

haha! yeah ive never hit anything as of yet. seems worse when you let your clutch out slowly. its like a really faint knocking noise. will give it all a check.

Could be a CV joint but more likely to hear them going when turning, not in a straight line.

I'd say wishbone buses tbh, is it a kind of rotational "knock" or just a couple of random "clunks"?
