I have a problem with my speedo and oil temp dials. It's intemitant but now and then they go mad. I could be goin 30 but the speedo will be going up and down to 50 to 30 to 60 to 30 and so on, same with the oil temperature.
HELP lol

i have a problem along them lines but i could be doin 30 and my speedo just goes to zero for about 5 mins then goes back to normal

Try unplugging the shunt fuse in the fuse box for 10mins (make sure that you have your radio code written down).

If that fails check that your battery is ok.

They are the common causes after that look at wiring/earths.

This sounds like it's the speed sensor mounted to the gearbox/diff housing. Have a search for more info on it.

think toms right, mine goes form 0 - 130 in less than a second and then stops workign completely. Have tried the shunt fuse for ½ hr radio code noted!!! no joy. its the speed sensor on the box... havent done it yet, just use the twat nav to see what speed I am doing!!

I have the same problem my speedo dance's when parked Upto 140mph. Once warm seems to settle down.
Any ideas?

speed sensor in box mate it will just stop working one day!!!
